CBS is telling Hawaii Five-0 aloha.
The long-term crime drama is scheduled to end in the current 10th season. The series will celebrate its two-hour finale on April 3.
The show is a reboot of the 1968-80 series created by Leonard Freeman, who starred Jack Lord as Honolulu detective Steve McGarret. The current series, starring Alex O’Loughlin as McGarrett, continues to run for about the same period as its predecessor (10 vs. 12 seasons).

I’m grateful that the fans were passionate about it. 」
Five-0 has been the mainstay of CBS for the past decade. The CBS TV Studios series won a wealth of domestic syndication agreements early in execution and aired in more than 200 countries. Scott Khan, Ian Anthony Dale, Megan Las, Beura Koare, Katrina Law, Taylor Willie, Dennis Chung, Kimmy Balmirero and Chi McBride are also on the cast. Daniel de Kim and Grace Park starred in their first seven seasons. The current season has an average of about 9.4 million viewers, with week-long viewing delays and ranking the top 25 on the broadcast network.

Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Lenkov have developed a new take for the Freemans series. Lenkov is a showrunner for the entire run (he also oversees two CBS reboots on MacGyver and Magnum PI).

5-0 is the second long-running CBS drama called This Season’s Rap. Criminal Minds aired the series finale on February 19, 15 seasons later. Ends with a total of 240 episodes.
