The South Korean film Parasite, Bong Young Ho, went on tonight his remarkable award season and won the top prize for the editor Jimmo Yang during the 70th annual ACE Eddie Awards. This is the first time that the U.S. Bioinformatics Awards have provided its award for Best Film (film) for a Foreign language award to the award.
Nazjo-Senman from Searchlight Pictures Jojo Rabiit won the best Edited Feature Film (film) for Tom Eagles, and Axel thwarted took the best Edited Animated Feature movie to Home for Disney/Pixar’s billion-dollar successor Toy Story 4. Todd Douglas Miller made the Eddie for the best purchased in documentary (function) for Neon’s Apollo 11.

And I thank all the crew members who worked with me on this film, especially my editing staff. It is such a great honour to nominate such incredible honors, and I will do my best to work on wonderful films with great directors. ”
Eagles said of the stage: ‘ The last time I won any award I was about 6 years old. ‘ It was a Disko-dance competition and I won the first place. I want to thank everyone. I think it’s a tremendous generosity to even nominate me. You made me feel very welcome, and to be nominated along with such a fine company let me speechless.

The Eddies, which acknowledges excellent editing in film, TV and documentary programs, has a strong record of predicting the winner for the best editing at the Oscar Awards. Twenty-two of the past 29 ACE winners for the best edited dramatic film and 11 of the past 15 won the Oscar, including John Ottman last year for Bohemian Rhapsody. Parasite, from CJ Entertainment, and Jojo Rabbit fights for the Oscar for best editing against Ford v Ferrari (Michael McCusker and Andrew Buckland), the thrower (Thelma Schoonmaker) and Joker (Jeff Groth).
