Megastar takes the stage again

Following previous performances on the David Sylman Show, at the Anime Expo in 2011, and even opened to Lady Gaga (not to mention the sale of arenas across Japan), the Vocaloid exporter Hatsune Miku was ready again to get the world with storm , when she does a set on this year’s Coachella festival.

An event that takes place as old and about ten years behind the curve, Coachella takes place this April in Indio, California, and will take the pop princess in pint-size on stage to portray some of her biggest hits.

Miku’s inclusion is part of the emphasis on Asian music during the event, which also will see performances from the Japanese actor Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and the Korean stars BIGBANG and Epik High.

Ironically, although Miku is possible to be an easy and cheaper option than discussing a new price, the hardware and effort needed to get the game on stage and perform on her best is very difficult.

Although it is unlikely that these diva will throw a line over the size of her dressing room, she comes with her own very unique space and travel requirements. Bless her heart.

Coachella 2020 takes place at The Empire Polo Club, Indio, CA. from 10-19 April. Hatsune Miku’s European tour started the weekend at the O2 Academy in Brixton, London.
