Sister Wives time on Sunday 5 January to TLC back and since last season there have been some big changes in the Brown family.

Janelle and Kody Brown’s daughter Madthe had born a baby girl, Meri’s daughter Mariah engaged her friend, and Christine’s daughter Aspyn was studied from the university.

But the largest development for the Browns is their moving from Las Vegas to Flagstaff, Arizona.

The big move seems to be an important point in the upcoming episodes, based on the trailer for the new season.

Moving to a new state is causing tension between Kody and its four wives, putting the family financial strain and placing it against their new neighbours. So, why did the Browns choose in the first place to move?

The Brown family wanted a change of pace

The family Brown was originally living in Utah. But they moved to Las Vegas to escape to the strict anti-poligamiewette of the state. However, after a few years in Nevada, they decided that it is time to go on.

“We look forward to cooler temperatures, the mountain air, view in the countryside and the slower lifestyle of Flagstaff,” the polyglot family said to People in 2018 when they first announced that they would like to move.

The family was also not sure whether Las Vegas was the best place to make their children big.

“The last few years, Vegas changed a lot. So we started worrying much more about what the children are exposed to, “said Robyn Brown according to Touch Weekly.

‘ We had to go out. We had to make an adaptation. The timing was just right to get our kids out of Las Vegas and in a safe place, “Kody explained.

In a Twitter message from 2019 Kody also said that the family ‘ in exile lives in Las Vegas ‘. While the original plan was to return to Utah, they finally settled in Arizona.

It sounds like the Browns had some good reasons to leave Las Vegas, but the latest trailer for their show suggests that moving down has created a whole set of problems for the family.

‘ I drowned financially, ‘ said wife Christine in the trailer for the new season. Her sister-wife Janelle, who is a real estate agent, explains that she struggles to sell the family’s homes in Las Vegas. ‘ There was no interest in the houses, ‘ she says.

‘ We pay five bandages with our country, ‘ says Kody at a meeting with his wives. He hopes to persuade them to go on with his plan to build a great house for them to share on a property they bought in Arizona. But not all the women are aboard the plan. The family is meanwhile divided between a mix of new houses they bought and rent.

Apart from causing financial stress, the Browns found that the community in Flagstaff is not very welcome. Someone even called the police on Meri and Kody as they moved her into her new home. Apparently, the neighbors were not happy to have a member of a plural family next door.
