You learn almost everything to learn about The Witcher Hero Geralt (Henry Cavill) in a few minutes in the first episode. Netflix’s adaptation grabs the esoteric hero completely. He is struggling to survive in a world that hates him, stubbornly sticking to the moral code that compels him into dangerous situations. He is grueling and sarcastic, always down to battle, impossibly attractive and often irresistible. It’s a premise that has done a good job as a book and video game – and now it’s one of the best series on Netflix.

The most important part of The Witcher, however, is Geralt himself. I admit: I was terrified to see the early photographs of Henry Cavill in a party city-esque white wig, but he wasn’t liking the role at all. His geralt is the perfect perfect blend of scary, sexy and sarcastic. Even their gravel voice is perfect. The wig may seem strange at times, but eventually it makes Geralt interesting. You also get to see her in many bathing scenes.

As a TV show, The Witcher is particularly refreshing in an era filled with zeroist fantasy stories inspired by Game of Thrones. Yes, sometimes the show becomes cruel. Surprisingly choreographed battle scenes are extremely violent, as there is a very distinctive and hard-to-magical spell.
